Counter Guide
Privacy & security
Refillops holds workflow context about prescriptions, not the legal dispensing record. This guide covers how patient information is shown, how organization data is separated, and how to control communications.
When to use this
- Reviewing what patient information appears on shared screens.
- Onboarding a new location or organization and confirming data boundaries.
- Managing email preferences or unsubscribing.
- Reporting a security concern.
Step by step
- 1
Privacy-safe patient display
Patient names default to first name and last initial on shared queue views. Full name is shown only when an issue is open and the team member has a role that needs it.
- 2
Organization data boundaries
Each organization is isolated. Team members in one organization cannot see issues, patients, or messages from another, even if the user belongs to both.
- 3
Email preferences
Manage which Refillops notifications you receive from the email preferences page. Transactional account emails are always sent for security-critical events.
- 4
Unsubscribe
Unsubscribe from product update emails any time from the unsubscribe page. This does not affect billing or security emails.
- 5
Intelligence and AI review boundaries
Workflow suggestions and message drafts are assistive only. They never auto-send, never approve coverage, never substitute medications, and never make clinical decisions. The pharmacy team reviews every output before it takes effect.
- 6
Report a security concern
Email the security contact listed below with a description, timestamps, and any reproduction steps. We acknowledge security reports promptly and keep you updated on progress.
Safety & trust
Refillops is not a clinical decision support system and does not replace pharmacist or prescriber judgment.
